HWY 29 Bypass Directions

There have been major improvements on Hwy 29 from I-94 at the Elk Mound exit, all of the way to within a few miles of Skydive Wissota.  These improvements shorten the drivetime to Skydive Wissota by about 10 minutes!

To get to Skydive Wissota from the Twin Cities or western Wisconsin, simply follow I-94 East and get off on the Hwy 29 exit near Elk Mound.   Take 29 East past Chippewa Falls until you get to Exit 80, which is the exit for Cty Hwy X and for the Wissota State Park. 

Follow Cty Hwy X to Cty Hwy K and take a left; look for the Skydive Wissota sign on the left about 1/2 mile up from Cty X. 

If you miss Hwy K you will end up in Cadott, a few miles too far -- simply backtrack until you hit CTY K from the other direction.
