Northern
Plains Skydiving League - Final Meet 2011 - 1st Place Class A
Cold
but beautiful fall weather welcomed the Northern Plains Skydiving
League’s last meet of the 2011 season.
Eight teams signed up for the meet, with seven of them completing
all six rounds. In the A Class, “Random Blocks” and
the “Wissota Baby Beavers” battled for the upper hand
throughout the 2011 season, with this NPSL meet as the final showdown
for the A Class gold medals. The Wissota Baby Beavers
came well prepared and even brought their mascot for moral support;
alternate Jordan "Kramer" Ermer tirelessly entertained
the whole dropzone for two days.
The
Baby Beavers added significantly to the great meet atmosphere, and
secured first place in the A Class competition. [excerpt from NSL

Past News
SkyDive Wissota did two Demonstration jumps in 2008. Our first one
was at the Kansas City Chief’s Training camp in River Falls;
a demo we have been doing for years. Steve Inlow flew four jumpers,
Mary Bauer, Bob Stumm, Nate Beyerstedt, and Todd Jacobson over the
stadium. A group of club members acted as ground crew and the jumps
went off without a hitch.

The second Demonstration jumpwas another we have done for many years.
Steve Inlow flew four jumpers, Mary Bauer, Marty Lemke, Dan Kluge,
and Jamie Rogalla, over the Gemini Drive-In Movie Theater for Family
Night. Jumpers sign autographs for all the kids after they landed.
Again many club members were on the ground for set up and crowd
control.
