TANDEM

Training: Go along for the ride...on a TWO MILE HIGH SKYDIVE! After about 30 minutes of training you will ride to 10,000 ft. Then firmly attached to your instructor, you will jump wearing a parachute built for two! After 30-plus seconds of freefall, you can pull your own ripcord and settle in for an 8-10 minute scenic (or extreme!) ride to a soft landing. Let us guide you through what may be the most exciting experience of your life!

Scheduling: All students wishing to make a tandem jump need to make an appointment. Appointments are taken for all day on Saturdays and Sundays as well as in the evenings on Wednesdays and Fridays. Please plan to spend the day at the dropzone as schedules are sometimes altered throughout the day dependent on weather and number of students. PLEASE NOTE: All appointments are subject to cancellation dependent on the weather.

Tandem Jump = $190
Optional Tandem Video = $60

Weight Limit for tandem is 235 lbs.

Tandems: Scheduled anytime during the skydiving hours listed above!

Tandem skydives may be purchased online here.

STATIC LINE

Training: Perfect for the do-it-yourselfer. You wear your own rig, and are responsible for all aspects of the skydive. It starts with the first jump course. Approximately 6 hours of training teaches you about the equipment, how to exit the plane, how to fly and land your canopy, and how to deal with problems. Once you are ready to jump, you will climb to 3,000ft and exit alone. The static line opens your parachute and you are the pilot of your own canopy, flying to a safe landing. Ground-to-air radio assists in flying and landing if necessary. Shortly thereafter you will advance to freefall and "Relative Work" with experienced skydivers doing hookups in the air!

Static Line Progression Program:
Five static line jumps, including three practice ripcord pulls (PRCP's), are required before advancing to free-fall. Plan your last static line jump the same day as your first free-fall. Your free-fall progression will be in increments of 5-10 second delays with your altitude increasing with the longer delays. Please plan time for your jumpmaster to debrief you on your last jump and to brief you on your next jump. This is CRUCIAL to advancing in the sport. Beginning free-fallers are more susceptible to malfunctions and mental errors.

Scheduling: Classes are held in the clubhouse on Saturday mornings at 8:00 sharp from April through October. Classes are not held every Saturday! Please do not be late as this will delay the schedule for all the students for the entire day. The sooner things get started the sooner you get to skydive!

Static Line Training + 1 Jump = $140
Static Line Training + 5 Jumps = $240

Additional Static Line = $30
Freefall with Club Gear = $30

Static Line Jump maximum weight limit = 230 pounds

Static Line skydives may be purchased online here.

BECOMING A LICENSED SKYDIVER: 25 Jumps

The United States Parachute Association (USPA) issues skydiving licenses that are recognized all over the world. It starts with your USPA A License, which you can earn after only 25 jumps and completion of a proficiency card signed by your instructor. Your A License says you are a safe, competent skydiver. It allows you to rent gear and jump at most drop zone locations in the U.S. It is also the first stepping stone to more advanced skydiving licenses.

Click to view or download the USPA A License Proficiency Card & Application.
